Gorgeous, Elle! You know that I tried strobing a couple days ago thanks to you and your video!! I used the Becca Moonstone highlighter and it turned out really nice!
That MAC blush you used in this video is really pretty! I’m going to have to rewind to catch the name again!

Hey you! I’m Elle. I’m a beauty fanatic who loves beachy waves in my hair and I’ve never met a lipstick I didn’t like. I live in Atlanta with my little dog, Charlie. I adore Amanda’s blog–she is my style guru–and am so excited to guest post today! On my blog, Elle Sees, you’ll find all things beauty–tips, tricks, and tutorials. And speaking of tutorials, today I’m sharing my everyday makeup routine.

First, I prime and prep my skin with the Smashbox Pore Minimizer Primer. I like this one because it helps hide pores. Next I apply foundation–my skin is on the drier side–so I love the glow this Giorgio Armani Silk Foundation gives me. Then it’s time for concealing my dark circles, and I suggest Bobbi Brown. It’s a great corrector and comes in many shades.
For an everyday look, I keep the eye shadow to a minimum. I love this Too Faced Natural Matte Palette because it offers so many looks. I pat the lightest shade (Silk Teddy) on the lid. Then, I sweep some of the shade Strapless into the crease and blend. I smudge a little of the shade Risque under the lower lash line.
I then curl lashes, add a Lancome mascara and a Sonia Kashuk liner to my upper lashes. My brows are naturally full so I use Loreal Stylist Brow Plumper to put them in place. I add a little Becca highlighter, a sweep of MAC peach blush, and a peachy gloss from Japonesque.
And if you want to see this effortless look in action from start to finish, then check out my video below:

Thanks so much to my friend Amanda for letting me take over her blog today! You can find my blog at www.ellesees.blogspot.com and you can keep up with my Instagram. I’d love to hear in the comments below about your everyday makeup!
Thanks Elle for sharing your tips. You are always giving me new tips on bettering my makeup routine! Make sure you head to her blog everyone!!
xoxo A
