For the velvet burgundy pumps, do you know any replacement which is comparatively cheap?
    Thanks in advance! 🙂

When I am talking about my outfits from NYFW and say ‘The Skirt’, you should ALL know what I am talking about!!

This skirt from MSGM is insane!! It was so hard spending that much money on a skirt but I am sooo glad I did! I received the most compliments I have every received in my entire life in this outfit!

Well, the compliments were also partly directed towards the Chloe handbag and the velvet burgundy pumps.. but the skirt was definitely the focal piece!

I got  a ton of cool street shots in this skirt, and then of course had my photographer shoot some in the park. You can definitely tell which is which from the photos above! A shot of this look was even featured in Fort Worth, Texas Magazine (taken by Angie Garcia).

Day 3 NYFW

Ok, definitely bounced around here. You can see days 1, 2, and 4 by clicking on the numbers!

I saved my favorite outfit for Day 3 because I had soo many meetings, presentations, and shows on this day!

8am. I was up bright and early again for the Paul Andrew presentation. I am always a huge fan of his shoes and did not want to miss seeing what was coming out for Spring/Summer 2017!

It was in and out so I had tons of time to kill before the Dan Liu runway show. Katey McFarlan was also at Paul Andrew so we decided to grab some coffee and kill some time. She happens to be pregnant, and the place we sat down at didn’t even have decaf coffee?! If you have never heard of her or her blog, make sure to check it out!

10am. The Dan Liu show was pretty good, but I mostly enjoyed it because I got to see most of my blogger friends there!! It was definitely the slowest show I have been to. The models seemed to be minutes a part from each other. Great designs though!

After Dan Liu I met up with a bunch of friends at the Shopstyle event, and then we ran and grabbed some much needed pizza a few blocks away.

All of this took some time, so I missed the Son Jung Wan runway show :(. Hopefully I will get to see it next year! Sometimes you have to decide to skip some things to keep your sanity!

3:30 pm. After relaxing and having some delicious wine, we all walked over for the Banana Republic Presentation at 3:3o. I finally got to see my fashion idol, Olivia Palermo, while I was there. I wanted to walk up to her and ask for a hug but didn’t have the nerve! Definitely a favorite moment of mine from NYFW!

4:30pm. Right after Banana Republic, I had to jump in a cab and drive across town to meet with the PR team at Lacoste headquarters. It was sooo cool being in there and seeing the new collection! To me it was better than the runway show, because I got to talk to my contacts and see the collection up close and personal.

5:30. I love putting together happy hours when I am town for Fashion Week. I reach out to my blogging friends that I met socially and arrange a meet up so that I can finally put faces with names! This year I hosted it at Parker Quinn and we had around 40 girls stop in!!

After the happy hour I ran home and changed and headed out for dinner with our pr contact & friend from French Connection! She is always such a blast! I think we got there at 9 and left dinner around midnight (that is how all dinners are in NYC)!

Definitely the most exhausting day, but so worth it!

Ugh, just doing these re-caps makes me want to go back in February….
