Such a gorgeous video! Did you guys pick Banff as a destination wedding or is your husband from Canada? ???? Congratulations and here’s to a long, happy marriage! ❤️

We are so excited to finally share our wedding video with you guys!

Wedding Info:

Videographer: We had our videographer, Brandon Steward from Steward Productions, flown in from Dallas. My sister has worked with him during numerous weddings in Dallas and he also did the adoption video for my niece Emberlynn (see that HERE!) He brought a second shooter with him, Joseph Wilson, and they both brought drones that they used for this amazing footage throughout the weekend! I highly recommend using him for your wedding here in DFW or for a destination wedding! He is so talented!

Steward Productions also sent us a more personal video. We may choose to show that at a later date, but we will probably keep it for ourselves. It has all of the behind the scenes moments!

Officiant: My brother-in-law Colt Church was the one speaking here in this video! There is something so extremely special about having someone you know and love be the officiant for your wedding! He was the perfect narrator for this clip.

Venue: The wedding was held at Silvertip Resort in Canmore, Canada.

The ceremony was outside at a gazebo overlooking the town of Canmore with a mountain backdrop.

The reception was in a large room at Silvertip Resort. It holds up to 200 people but my wedding guest count was 64. We opened the doors that led to the back where it overlooked mountains, a golf course, and held two fire pits. Most of our guests were split between that amazing space outside (mostly during sunset) and on the dance floor!

Weather: Two minutes into the ceremony we had a 30 min bout of hard rain. We all had to huddle into the gazebo and brave it out until the storm passed. I then got to walk down the aisle for a second time and start it all over again. This video was taken during that take two, right after the rain had passed. It made the sky and background more beautiful than ever and if I had to live my wedding over again I would have the same exact bout of rain come through. Being with my closest friends and family in a tiny gazebo in the middle of my wedding ceremony was my favorite part of my entire wedding weekend.

Florist: We also flew our florist out for the wedding. She is just incredible. Definitely use Wild Rose Events for your DFW wedding guys! Not picture here: She had flowers cascading down from the chandeliers in the reception area! It was stunning!

Photographer: Not shown in this photo is my photographer, Adria Lea Photography. To see some of her images go to THIS POST, THIS POST, OR THIS POST.

Dress: My dress is a Berta gown that I got from Bridal Boutique of Lewisville. I got it while Berta was having a pop-up at BB Lewisville. I definitely cried when I first put the dress on. That is how I knew it was the one.

Wedding Planner: Signature Weddings by Ashley was our wedding planner and made everything go so smoothly. She kept me on tracked and made planning a destination wedding so extremely easy. If you have a wedding in the Canmore/Banff/Calgary area, definitely DEFINITELY use her!

Lake: One of the events we had for the wedding guests during the weekend was a trip out to Lake Moraine. We shuttled everyone there and hiked, did some canoeing, and mostly just spent time pinching ourselves. Canmore and Banff are so unreal. Definitely a must add to your bucket list!

xoxo Amanda and Troy
