I gotta say that I love you ladies showing that beautiful isn’t a one size fits all thing. I am short 5″1 i have a large chest CD and my upper arms are my least favorite part I learned to love myself a long time ago (I’m not super thin but I’m not plus size I’m usually a medium) what do you think is my best romper style? Thanks again I loved this article!!!

The Miller Affect posting about rompers for different body typesThe Miller Affect wearing rompers for different body types

So excited to bring you this post today! I get together with these girls ALL OF THE TIME. They have become some of my closest friends. We are usually always in a completely different outfit that usually flaunts our own unique styles.

We all decided we wanted to have a romper challenge. If we all had to go to an event wearing a romper, which one would it be, and why.

Today I am so happy to introduce you to my friends, and to give you an inside look on rompers for different body types – the Dallas Blogger’s Edition!

Rompers for Different Body Types

Me, The Miller Affect

I am 5’11, which makes it really hard for me to find rompers that are long enough. Some even show half of my butt (eeek).

When looking for rompers, I always look for some that have either a small ruffle or some kind lace or crochet detailing on the bottom.

It may not actually be longer, but it makes the romper LOOK longer, and that can be just as important! Usually though, the ruffle, lace, crochet, etc, adds length to the shorts!

When talking about rompers for different body types, we aren’t just talking about how the rompers fit. We are also talking about how they make you feel and how comfortable you are in them.

Christina choose this romper because of the off-the-shoulder neckline. It is universally flattering and is one of her go-tos. If you check out her blog, you will find so much off-the-shoulder goodness!

The culott-cut shorts are nice and breezy. She doesn’t like when the shorts fit too tight on her legs. Her legs are her least favorite part of her body and she often tries to hide them, so it is important for her to find rompers that have this loose, breezy fit.

Brooke Burnett, One Small Blonde

Don’t you just love the colors in this romper?! So tropical!

There are so many different options for rompers for different body types!

Brooke loves rompers in general, because they work with her short torso. She also loves wearing halter necklines, because they elongate your body and make you appear taller.

Sage wearing a belted black Topshop romper

Sage Coralli, So Sage Blog

Sage always likes to draw attention to her upper body, not her lower body, so she opted for a v-neck strappy top.

She always likes rompers that are like a blank canvas. This romper can be dressed up with wedges or down with sneakers for a more sporty look.

Plus, this romper has a belted option which she loves. She can use the belt to accentuate her hips when she wants an added wow factor.

Lynlee Poston, Gal About Town

When categorizing rompers for different body types, Lynlee would fall under the athletic build. With her broad shoulders, she always looks for rompers that have some type of sleeve to cover her arms. It also gives a more feminine look.

She also has a long torso, so she likes rompers that have a cinched or drop waist. They work best with the extra fabric and length.

Natalie Keinan, The Fashion Hour

How cute is Natalie?! She is super sweet too! When it comes to rompers for different body types, she would fall under curvy (her words, not mine!)

She looks for rompers that aren’t tight on her legs or backside. She picked this romper because of it’s elastic waist and shorts that are on the longer side.

She also loves this romper because it buttons down in the front. You can button it all the way up for a brunch with friends or make it a plunging v for a night out on the town.
