Last year my blogging friends and I celebrated Friendsgiving together and it remains one of my most popular blog posts to date! If you haven’t seen it yet, make sure to check HERE.

They were held at Brooke’s house both years but she changed up the table settings and we made some tweaks to the guest list and to the actual food. We were definitely missing a couple friends that couldn’t make it, but we had some amazing new additions this year. See the list below, from left to right:

I didn’t contribute much to this year’s feast. In fact, I actually asked Brighton if she would pick up a pie for me on her way over haha! I had just gotten back from my cruise the day before and just didn’t have enough time to throw something together! Luckily, Brooke is very much in her element when it comes to cooking dinners for us! She basically make EVERYTHING you see on the table (Lauren made the stuffing!) See Brooke’s blog post HERE if you want some recipes!

What to Wear to Thanksgiving:

I wore this amazing poncho with pockets and added some leather leggings to spruce up the look. Regular leggings would look just as great if you aren’t comfortable in leather! If you wear regular leggings then you can add some flat over the knee boots to stay comfortable. I linked my look and some options below:

Leather Leggings (here are some more on sale)

Thanksgiving Tablescape

Here are some photos for the tablescape that Brooke put together for our thanksgiving meal! I linked everything at the end (including table, chairs, and everything she used for decorations!) Hopefully this helps you with inspo for your own Thanksgiving tablescape!

Are you guys doing a Friendsgiving this year? I highly recommend it! There are tons of places you can pick up food from if you don’t want to have to cook or do the dishes! I just love catching up and remembering why we are all thankful for each other!

What to Give Your Hostess:

Everyone wants to know what to give your hostess for Thanksgiving. I am starting my #30daysofholiday TODAY with a gift guide on what to give your hostess! This applies to anyone who is hosting a dinner party that you are invited to!

Wine or some good liquor is always a winner.

Safest Bet #2: A Candle! So many great candles out there, but I linked my personal favorites below (they are the ones your host will remember most!)

Nest Candles. These candles last FOREVER and smell amazing! My personal favs are pumpkin chai and holiday!

Capri Blue Candles. You will literally DIE when you smell the Fir and Firewood candle from Capri Blue! Troy and I bought like 5 so that we can light it consistently and never have to worry about it going out. It smells like you are in the woods on a snowy day- in the best way possible! Makes for an amazing host gift or just a nice gift for yourself ;).

Signature Soy Candles. These are sold at Target and last a really long time and they are only $5! I love the ‘through the woods’ candle, but they have a lot of great options!

State Wine Glasses: I talk about these every year and I just can’t stop. They are such an amazing gift! My mom gave these to Troy for Christmas (a Nebraska set) and they are his favorite! It will mean a lot to your host if you get some with their home state on them! Crowd pleaser for sure!

Best Gift From Last Year: Again on THIS POST. These wine tags were an instant hit and sold out within a day! They came back with some for Friendsgiving and Christmas (cannot getting over how cute these are) that I highly recommend grabbing! You can put one on a bottle of wine and save the other two for the next party, or you can give your host all three!

Other Great Gift Ideas (scroll through the photos below to see everything!):

Twig Salad Servers. Not many people have a festive set of salad servers. I know mine are just wooden. I love this gold twig set- under $40!

Thankful Table Runner: This Thankful table runner will pretty much go with any table! It is also under $30 and if they don’t use it right away they will definitely put it on the table for the next dinner!

Doggie Dormat. OK, this may be unconventional, but if your host is a dog lover you HAVE to get them this holiday dog doormat. It has three dogs on it with santa hats and the words ‘come, sit, stay’!!

Tree Serving Board. How pretty is this Christmas tree serving board? It is actually in my cart. I need to host dinner so someone can buy it for me haha! It is under $40 too!

Quirky Pub Board Game. Bringing a board game is a great idea! Give your hostess your favorite game or bring over something new you can all learn together, like the one I linked here!

Snow Globe. Great decoration for the table or kitchen! I guarantee they bring it out every year!

#30DaysofHoliday

For this series, make sure to ‘like’, ‘comment’ AND TAG 1 FRIEND on every post with the hashtag #30daysofHoliday on Instagram! The lucky winner will win a gift card totalling $1,000 to the store of their choosing- a week before Christmas! Good luck everyone!

*PS- each post needs to have a new person tagged. Don’t have 30 friends on Instagram? That’s ok, tag someone else you follow!
