So many questions about our trip to Watercolor, so I will try to get them all answered here. This was my third time to 30A and each time felt brand new because we stayed in completely different areas.
If you have never been to 30A- GO! It is the perfect destination for a girl’s trip or family trip. The white sand beaches are stunning and the food and night life is just so much fun. I really love everything about it.
Best Place to Stay on 30A:
I recently did a poll on Instagram Stories asking YOU where your favorite place to stay on 30A was, and the results looked like this:
Rosemary Beach, then Seaside, then Watercolor, and then Alys Beach. So jealous of those of you who have gotten to stay at Alys Beach- so beautiful!
Where we stayed:
We had a GORGEOUS house in Watercolor this trip! Sanders Beach Rentals had the best trip planned for us and I had the most amazing time catching up with all of my friends in the beautiful house they provided.
They have homes throughout 30A but we loved our Watercolor home because we could walk to everything from there.
Make sure to check out sandersbeachrentals.com and filter for the type of house you are wanting. Their website makes it SUPER easy to find exactly what you are looking for and you can book it right then.
Our house in 30A had access to bikes for everyone, was within walking distance to seaside square (and the beach of course), and it gave us access to the Watercolor beach club. Everything we needed for the perfect vacation was right next us!
Best Places to Eat on 30A:
If you are celebrating something or you have a big group, I recommend hiring Hibachi Joe to come to your house. He brings his hibachi grill and everything with him so you just sit back, relax, and eat all the fried rice you can stuff in (that’s what I did anyway!)

Tips
Getting an Uber or Lyft is almost impossible right now. My friend couldn’t get one from the airport (had to ask a stranger if she could jump in with him) and then on the way to the airport she had scheduled a Lyft and it never showed so she missed her flight.
My Uber driver, CJ, gave me his phone number so I used him to get to and from the airport. I just called him and arranged everything ahead of time. He has a car, so if you need something bigger let him know. He may know of someone that can come get you! His number: 850-896-2687
I HIGHLY SUGGEST renting a car. If you are going to rent, rent it AS SOON AS you book your trip. They are also very hard to come by right now because that area is very popular, especially with a lot of borders closed down due to Covid. Everyone is going to Florida to vacation!
I also suggest paying extra to stay within walking distance to everything so you don’t have to worry about parking, finding a ride, etc.

Vendors
Here is a list of vendors we used that made our stay even more incredible:
Grove Salon 30A (gave us soap and things we needed to shower with at the house! Wish we would have had time for a spa day!)
Hey Mama Wines (yummy canned wine!)
Seaside Style (cutest shop! Got a tank for myself and a sweater and hat for the kids)
Hibachi Joe (brings everything for hibachi with him)
Gilbert Glassworks (so fun!! We did an art fusing class here!)
Beach Brothers Beach Service (if you want a bonfire on the beach one night!)
Graze30A (for perfect charcuterie boards)
Emerald Coast Catering (made us the yummiest fajita bar at the house!)
