Wow, Thanksgiving is THIS WEEK! This year has gone by so fast. I cannot believe Christmas is only a month away! I will be traveling to Omaha this year for Thanksgiving to spend some time with my boyfriend’s family. I am so excited for so many reasons, but also super worried about the cold weather! I will definitely be packing these Hunter boots!

I always feel like I know what to wear here in Dallas, but put me in 10 degree weather and I am LOST! My boyfriend tells me to fit everything in a carry on, but how can I pack 5 coats and 7 sweaters in a small bag?!?! Plus, these Hunter boots will take up half of the space!! Can’t leave without them though.. #thestruggleisreal guys. He seems to think I only need one coat?! Men don’t know anything! I am still going to attempt it because travelling this time of year is hectic enough without having to check a bag. I don’t want to have to be at the airport three hours before our flight!
We don’t really have plans. I already warned him that I will be on my computer a lot of the time making sure I am up-to-date on all of the insane sales we are about to see with Black Friday and Cyber Monday both falling in the same month! HELLO NOVEMBER! I also plan on relaxing, making snow angels, going to a Cornhusker game, cooking with my boyfriend’s mother, etc. I guess if there is enough snow to make snow angels I might as well plan on a snow ball fight!
Most importantly, I am going to reflect on everything I have to be thankful for. You guys are DEFINITELY a huge part of that. I couldn’t be doing what I love without you! I hope that you all have an amazing Thanksgiving, and please remember to be soooo extremely thankful for everything you have because there are so many people out there would give anything for warm house and a home cooked meal this Thanksgiving.
