Happy Thursday babes! I am super excited because today is really my Friday!! I leave for Vegas first thing in the morning! We are going to see some shows and hang out with some friends! So excited to get to know them better! Ok, so JUST IN CASE you aren’t completely over my resolutions, I do have a couple more, and then I am going to re-cap 2015!

Resolution #4.. or is this #5? Man, there are just too many this year (which means I must have really needed an adjustment!) Well #4 is BE.MORE.PRESENT. Have you guys seen the AT&T commercial yet? Hits home for me for sure. You can view it HERE.
Being a blogger has it perks, but it definitely demands A LOT of time and attention. When you have a blog, you have to be super social to make it work. I am constantly on my phone… CONSTANTLY! I am checking my blog emails, responding to blog comments, doing stuff on Instagram, etc. My boyfriend will be talking to me and I act like I am listening, but really I am focused on what is going on on my phone and when I am done I can honestly say I have no idea what he said. Sometimes he catches me, and I can see the hurt.
How do you become more present in a social world? AUTOMATE! There are so many automation services for bloggers. I can plan everything ahead and say exactly when I want it to be posted. I am definitely going to be working on that this year! More automation=more time with loved ones= being more present! Two birds, one stone!
Are you a mom, friend, or blogger that has a REALLY hard time being present? Let’s all work on this together. I think the first step is just recognizing it!

Straight A Style
Ok- this really has nothing to do with being present…but we are headed to Vegas next week with friends as well! This is our 5th year going–we don’t really gamble (the husbands do, but the wives…we work out, eat, work out, eat, see a show, etc). Would you mind sharing what you are packing? Each year the ladies in our group are on massive group texts about what to bring. We’d love to hear what a fashion blogger brings to Vegas.
