One of my favorite things about Fall and Winter is the outerwear!
I love wearing jackets and coats, but capes are just sooo chic and classy to me! I definitely have a weakness for both capes and ponchos (did you see this post here?)
Nordstrom has a WIDE range of capes this season, so if you haven’t tried one out, now is the time! They also carry all of your other fall basics, including boots, long sleeve tops, and jeans! You can easily mix and match your Fall wardrobe with all of the different varieties they offer.
I know everyone has different tastes and styles, so I am going to break down each item I am wearing above, as well as offer more options for you to try out!
BCBG Black Wool Cape:
This black wool cape is so comfortable and warm! I love the colorblock stripe at the bottom of the cape. It gives it something a little extra! It comes in two colors and I had the hardest time deciding which color I wanted (may have to go back and grab the camel version too!)

Striped Top:
This mock neck striped tee was in full stock when I purchased it LAST WEEK and now it is unfortunately completely sold out! I did also buy this striped top to go with it as well, but it didn’t come in in time for the shoot!! Plus this striped top will be perfect for layering this upcoming season. I can already imagine it under all my plaid blanket scarves, sweaters, and puffer vests! Grab it QUICKLY because it was also out of stock at one point and was recently re-stocked!

Black Tote:
This black tote was under $50 so I had to grab it! I love a tote that I can just throw my wallet and everything into easily! It is also reversible so I can make it black OR white, and it comes in three colors!

Black Leather Riding Boots:
Lastly, I have never had a pair of riding boots. Crazy huh? I know the Tory Burch riding boots are ‘all the rave’ but I am not the biggest fan of having huge logos on anything. These black leather riding boots are gorgeous, so chic, and so completely comfortable. I am ALSO grabbing them in the cognac leather so be on the look for that!!! So excited!! PS they also come in wide-leg!
