I cannot believe the second week has already come and gone! We had about two days of partial sunshine (better than last week when we had 0 sun!)
On Wednesday this week, we head to Kona, Hawaii, where we will meet up with Troy’s parents!

Monday
We went to the beach on Monday. This was the first time since we got to Maui and Miller did NOT enjoy herself. She doesn’t like the sand or the sound of the waves crashing.
I wore this gorgeous palm printed one piece in size M (fits true to size). It ended up being the fourth most popular item of the week!

For dinner we waked around Lahaina and ate at a food truck called Ono Tacos. The didn’t have anywhere to sit inside and the mosquitoes were a bit crazy by the truck. The shrimp tacos were fantastic though, so I recommend pulling up, grabbing the food, and eating at home or in the car!
After dinner we went and got Ululani’s Shaved Ice– just as good as I remember!
I wore this gorgeous wrap sweater and my favorite denim shorts. These shorts were the second most popular item of the week!

Tuesday
Tuesday it was pretty rainy and windy. We went running in the morning but had to stop often and take shelter. I wore this amazing sports bra from Amazon. It is so supportive! It was the sixth most popular item of the week!

After the run we drove to Nakelele Blowhole to try to get a photo with Miller at the heart rock but it was too windy to take her down there. Little did we know it would be our last opportunity. The heart rock eroded this past week and is no longer there 🙁 🙁
For dinner, we went to Sansei. It was probably the best dinner we have had yet. If you like sushi I highly recommend getting a reservation!
I wore this fun leopard jumpsuit that ties in the back (you can actually wear it backward and put the tie in the front too! It looks so cute either way.

Wednesday
On Wednesday we tried the beach again. Miller was a little braver and didn’t have to be glued at the hip the entire time, but it is still a huge work in progress at this point.
I wore this gorgeous two piece set from Becca swim! The top fits a little small, so go up a size and use the ties in the back to make it tighter if needed.

For dinner we went to Hula Grill. They have a musician from 2-5 and then from 6-8. I highly recommend getting a table by the music if you have a little one! Miller was watching her so intently all night and was dancing away to each song!
I wore this gorgeous Free People sweater that I found on sale for half off! It was the TOP product of the week in terms of popularity and sales. The shorts I am wearing here were the second most popular. They are the only pair of blue denim shorts I brought.

Thursday
On Thursday we checked out Napili Bay. I didn’t take a picture of it, but here is the cover-up I wore:
Miller HATED her time at Napili Bay. The sand was deeper there and she didn’t like that + the waves crashed harder so I think that really scared her. I also think we took her too close to her nap time! I feel like we went backward in terms of progress.
I wore this chasing-a-toddler-friendly swimsuit from Amazon. It is so cute and comes in multiple colors. It fits true to size.

We went to Monkeypod again for dinner. I ordered the beef bulgogi tacos instead this time and they were delicious (still not as good as the seared tuna though!)
Unfortunately, the Lilly Pulitzer dress I wore is sold out. I will link it here below just in case it comes back!
Friday
On Friday we gave Miller a break from the beach. It was still rainy and a bit chilly with the rain so we just took Miller to the playground and let her run around all morning.

We went to Merriman’s for dinner. It was stunning. Definitely the most incredible views in Maui! The food was delicious but it was so so so so expensive! We skipped dinner the next night to try to make up for it.

Saturday
On Saturday we got out of town and took Miller to the Aquarium. I think she enjoyed herself, but I wish I would have waited until she was a bit older. It was still fun to see her talking to the fish and squealing as she ran around the park.
I wore this adorable sweatshirt dress since it was still pretty windy with some cold rain here and there. It was perfect!

When we got back for Miller’s nap I got to go lay out in the sun for about 30 minutes (before it started raining again!) I love wearing this bandeau suit to lay out in.

We stayed in Saturday night since our dinner on Friday was so pricey. We cooked a pizza and caught up on the first episode of the bachelor!
Sunday
Sunday was another day at the beach with my girl! She did sooo much better! She actually went belly deep (holding on to my hands of course) and loved it. It was still a bit cold out with some showers so I know she will like it even more when the sun is properly out.

On Sunday night we went and ate at Seahouse in Napili. I am sure it has an amazing happy hour (the views are stunning from the bar), but the food was just OK to us. Troy really did like the seared tuna though. Not as much as Monkeypod but he said it was really really good. Everything else was just OK! A lot of better places to eat in the area in my opinion but still a great stop for drinks.

We were in Maui two years ago with our boys. Your pictures make me miss it so bad. I can’t believe the heart rock is gone! That blow hole is incredible. It made my heart stop when someone would get too close to it.
