Whew it is starting to get hot in Texas and everyone wants to know how to wear a maxi skirt in the summer. Maxi skirts were HUGE this year and it would be such a shame to have to box them all up until the Fall! Have no fear! You can keep SOME of them hanging up in your rack.
This maxi skirt from Chicwish is perfect for summertime because of all the perforations. There is a short slit underneath but other than that it is completely breathable. That’s something you need to look for when grabbing a maxi skirt when it is 90 degrees outside! You can also go for a skirt with a high slit in the front or back as well. As long as your legs have SOMEWHERE to breath. I also don’t wear anything that will show sweat. The worst thing to worry about on a nice patio day is what your booty is going to look like when you get up! I like to wear light colors or some kind of geometric pattern when it is super hot outside. In the end, wearing a maxi skirt in the summer is completely do-able, but make sure you do it right or you will be uncomfortable, miserable, and embarrassed. The summertime is all about having fun, so don’t ever let your attire keep that from happening!
