So excited to be partnering with Pier 1 today to talk about how to make your house a home.

An empty house hardly feels like a home. The more you add things to your house that make you feel good, comfortable, nostalgic, etc, your house will feel more and more like a home. Like a place you always want to come back to.

Troy and I just had this bed in our otherwise empty bedroom for the longest time. That is, until we visited HERE at the Dallas Galleria location.

Pier 1 Bedroom Furniture

I posted my trip to Pier 1 on my Instagram Stories and got so many amazing responses from you guys! There are tons of Pier 1 fans out there and for good reason! They have the cutest stuff inside their store. I want EVERYTHING.

I wanted to add a couple of things to our bedroom, so I bought this grey tufted bench and these mirrored matching nightstands. The paint on the end tables match the paint on the legs of the bench. There is actually an entire set you can buy for your bedroom (jewelry stand and dresser!) Gimme!

The bench and end tables have made all the difference. I always want to be in our bedroom now. It seems silly, I know, but the more I add to each room the more attached I get!

Pier 1 Memories

I have also found my new bench from Pier 1 to be a great place to store my grandmother’s blanket that she made for Troy and I. She hand stitched it for us and it means everything to me. I will pass this on to my son/daughter one day. I love the contrast of the pink on the grey and it is so easy for us to grab and use if we need it.

Pier 1 brings back so many memories for me. We used to go with my mom as kids when we lived in Midland, TX and then again when we moved out to East Texas. She always loved visiting the store and I remember so many furniture items we grew up with being from Pier 1. So excited to be shopping here myself, and bringing this memory to my own kids.

Pier 1 has really re-vamped their store. Like I said before, I wanted everything in there. It is a one-stop-shop for everything you need for your house- inside and outside.

I was immediately drawn to the bedroom furniture, since I just needed that room to have more of a ‘home’ feel for Troy and I. Now we are looking for more items to decorate the end tables with!
