Hey guys!

I’m Kaylee and I’m so excited to be here as Amanda’s new brand manager/assistant! I still can’t even believe I’m saying that! To help you guys get to know me, I’m sharing a little more about myself…

I’m 22 years old and I grew up in Plano, TX (north of Dallas), and have been here my whole life. I don’t plan on leaving anytime soon, I’m a Texas girl at heart! I attended the University of Mississippi my freshman year of college. Ole Miss is a huge deal in my family, it’s where I grew up visiting and going to football games and I couldn’t wait to go there myself. It was the best year and I made some of my most favorite memories there! However, 8 hours from home proved to be too far and I ended up graduating from the University of North Texas in December 2018.

On the weekends, you can usually find me brunching with my friends, spending time with my boyfriend, or finding cool, new places to get happy hour! I’m a huge foodie so I love to find the best new spots around town. I also love binge watching Netflix shows, true crime is my favorite!

When I saw Amanda was hiring full-time, I was so excited and immediately knew I had to apply. Even though I was on track to becoming a teacher next fall, I couldn’t pass up such an incredible opportunity that I was so passionate about. I’d been following Amanda for about three years–she was one of the very first bloggers I ever started following and I was obsessed with her content, personality, and overall just felt like I could relate to her so much without even knowing her! She’s a total girl boss and I couldn’t feel more grateful to be learning from and working with someone I’m so inspired by. There are so many amazing perks to this job, but my favorite thing so far is getting to see the ‘behind the scenes’ of The Miller Affect and how much hard work and time goes into her content and every detail in between. Getting to hang out with sweet Miller isn’t so bad either 🙂 I’m SO excited to be apart of TMA and I can’t wait to get to know you all better too!

A few of my favorites-

Food: Give me all the CARBS! I love pasta, pizza, and tex-mex (chips & queso). When I’m feeling ‘healthy’ I love an açaí bowl.

Drink: I try to drink mostly water throughout the day, but I also love tea every once in a while. If I’m going out I’ll order white wine or a moscow mule.

Favorite beauty product: I’m loving this lip mask for winter, your lips will be sooo soft! I even wear it over a matte lip and it’s amazing.

Favorite fashion trend: Animal print! I love sticking to my basic staple pieces and adding a pop of animal print to my outfits.

What I wear daily: If I’m at home or running errands, I’m almost always in leggings and a workout top. On the weekends, my go-to outfit is a bodysuit, jeans, and a leather jacket or coat. In the spring/summer I live in denim shorts and a breezy top.

• I’ve been dating my boyfriend since I was 15 years old (6 1/2 years!)
