Hi guys!
So many of you asked for specific links to Sephora for these products and you asked that I do a blog post so that you didn’t have to go back and watch the video over and over (I know, it is LONG!)
For those of you who would rather watch the video, it is saved under my Beauty Highlights on my Instagram Stories!
I got this tutorial when I watched Emily from Champagne and Chanel do her makeup on Instagram! It always looks so flawless! We have completely different skin (she is almost 10 years younger than me), so it was cool knowing that it looked great on all ages!
Here are my favorite makeup products for a natural look. This is a 5 minute beauty routine that you only have to do once in the morning! The only thing I have to re-apply is my blush!
-Make sure you hit ‘GET SALE ALERT’ if you want to wait to buy them when/if they go on sale!
My 5 Minute Beauty Routine
1.Trish McEvoy Beauty Booster Cream
This primer is rather expensive ($92). I love it because my face is super dry and this works as a primer, moisturizer, and masque. A little bit goes a really long way and it leaves your skin feeling dewy with a pretty glow. Since it is so expensive I did some research on other options for you guys. The Clinique Superprimer Face Primer has great reviews and is another great option for dry skin. You can even buy it in yellow to reduce redness! The Smashbox Photo Finish also has amazing reviews and is said to be the BEST for oily skin!
2. Charlotte Tilbury Hollywood Flawless Filter.
This may be my favorite beauty product that I have ever purchased. I cannot believe it took me so long to find it! It is super light on your face and leaves a beautiful glow. If you are in a pinch for time, you could apply this, some powder, mascara, and a natural lip and you would be out of the house in minutes looking totally glam! It is such an amazing product!
Shade- I wear the Light (2), but now that I am super tan I could probably go one shade darker and save the light for next winter!
3. Sigma Beauty Flat Brush.
Any flat brush will work, but I looooove all of the Sigma Beauty brushes! They are sooo soft! This is what I use to apply my foundation.
4. Hourglass Vanish Seamless Finish Foundation Stick.
Not shown in my tutorial, but if you need more coverage, go with the Hourglass Vanish Seamless Finish Foundation Stick. This is moisturizing and will give you that full coverage you are looking for.
5. Double Duty Beauty Shape Tape Contour Concealer.
This is one of your favorites from my beauty tutorial (according to my direct messages on Instagram!) It is amazinnngg!! It looks pretty crazy at first but blends in so well and doesn’t look cakey at all! It will hide everything you need it to hide- including those dark circles! It is ok if it still looks ghostly when you dab it in, we will use powder later to blend it!
Shade-Fair Beige
6. Beautyblender.
Get your beautyblender wet and use it for your Concealer, Contour, and Powder (see next steps!) ALWAYS get your beautyblender wet first! Makeup is expensive and if your beautyblender is try it will soak in all of your makeup! Plus, it just blends soooo much better when wet! I recommend getting a nude blender since the makeup you will be using it for will be nude as well! Just don’t forget to wash it every now and then since you won’t be able to tell how dirty it is!
Use your wet beautyblender to blend in the concealer. I like to just dab repeatedly.
7. Bobbi Brown Skin Foundation Stick.
I sued to use a liquid contour set from Smashbox but it isn’t available anymore. The Bobbi Brown Foundation Stick is very similar! Apply it to your cheeks, hair line, and nose (see where in the photos above!) Then use your beautyblender to dab and blend it in.
Shade-Cool Almond
8. Charlotte Tilbury Airbrush Flawless Finish Setting Powder.
Any setting powder will work for this if you already have some you love! Charlotte Tilbury is an amazing brand and I didn’t have any so I went off Emily’s advice and grabbed this one! Use your beautyblender and dab the powder in all of the spots you used your Tarte concealer.
Shade-2 Medium
9. Laura Mercier Translucent Loose Setting Powder Glow.
Another all-time favorite! I am obsessed with this powder. It leaves suuuuccchhh a pretty finish and helps lock in all of your makeup! Apply it all over after step 8 and again after step 12 (your blush). The setting powder from step 8 and this loose glow powder will make it so that your mascara won’t get all over under your eyes too!
Shade- Translucent
10. Hourglass Veil Powder Blush.
If you have a set of brushes at home you like to use, then there is no need to also grab this one! I just like it because it is 2 in 1! I use the bigger brush for my Loose Setting Powder and the smaller side for the Indiscretion Bronzer (step 11) and the Highlighter (step ).
11. Laura Mercier Face Illuminator Powder.
Mine looks a little different because I got this set during the NSale. You will have to grab yours seperately. Buttt IT IS A MUST BUY! Second favorite product behind the flawless filter! It is a beautiful bronzer that you will apply over the areas that you used the Bobbi Brown Skin Foundation Stick! It will just make everything look more natural and again, will leave your skin with a glow!
Shade- Indiscretion
12. Clinique Cheek Pop Blush.
I have always used this blush! I just feel like it looks soooo natural after it wears off a little (as all blush does a few minutes after you apply because your skin soaks some of it in!) Use any blush brush to apply! I use an old brush from Pixi, but you could also use the Hourglass brush. After you apply your blush, apply your Loose Setting Powder again.
Shade- Rosy Pop
13. Laura Mercier Matte Radiance Baked Powder Compact.
Now finish it off with your highlighter! This one from Laura Mercier is gorgeous and I never have to re-apply!
Shade- Highlight 01
14. Clinique Quickliner for Eyes Eyeliner Pencil.
When applying eyeliner I have always been taught to only go 3/4 of the way (from the outside in) if you leave the inside of your eyes untouched your eyes will appear bigger and brighter! I usually go in with my highlighter powder on my inner eye and that realllly makes your eyes pop! This Clinique eyeliner NEVER smudges!
Shade- Black/Brown
15. L’oréal Paris Makeup Voluminous Lash Paradise Mascara.
Use any eyelash curler (hold it down for 30 seconds on each side), and then apply THIS MASCARA! It is so amazing yall! I don’t have thick or long lashes but this mascara gives me both length and fullness! It is also really easy to remove at the end of the day. One of the photos above show you what it looks like with the mascara only on one eye.
Shade-Mystic Black
16. L’0réal Paris Makeup Brow Stylist Definer Waterproof Eyebrow Pencil.
Save money and grab this amazing drugstore eyebrow pencil!!! It allows you to create super defined strokes so that you can actually make it look like real hair strokes and not like it is just penciled in. It is also waterproof so you don’t have to worry about having to apply it over and over again.
Shade-Brunette
17. L’Oreal Paris Unbelieva-Brow.
Lastly, I apply this unbelieva-brow. I stick the comb in the liquid and apply strokes to my eyebrow. This just makes them a little darker and creates more of a natural, feathery look!
Shade-Brunette
18. Lipstick.
Since this makeup gives you a super natural look, you can apply a bright lip without going overboard. The lipstick I am wearing here is Chanel’s #43 La Favorite, but my actual favorite lipstick line is the Clinique Pop Matte Lip Color + Primer. I own it in EVERY SINGLE COLOR! It is super moisturizing on the lips and it lasts forever! I feel like my lips are always chapped but this lipstick always hides that for me. My favorite shades are: Cute Pop (all-time fav), Rose Pop, Wow Pop, and Blush Pop!
Let me know if you guys have any questions!
