I always end up browsing Pinterest for meal ideas! It ends up being really helpful, because I have a “want to try board” and then once I have made it I move it to a new board about “Pinned it and tried it” with notes about how it turned out, if I would make it again, and what I would do differently next time. You could even make a group board since you are planning on cooking more with friends 🙂

New Year’s resolution number 2: Cook more. Raise your hand if you are in this with me. When I say I don’t cook, I mean maybe three times a year. How horrible is that? I am always in between my house and my boyfriend’s house, so groceries seem like a complete waste. We.Always.Eat.Out. This also means I usually skip breakfast :/.

Between work, travel, and jumping between houses, groceries are a waste of time and money. Instead, I have talked to some friends and we have agreed to take turns cooking at each other’s houses! This way, I can start cooking more and eating out less, AND I can keep up with my first resolution (more on that HERE).

I love looking through EASY cookbooks and trying out new recipes! Do you have any to recommend? I cooked for my boyfriend and I the other night and the enchilada sauce was GROSS and the chicken ended up being way overcooked (hey, I never said I was a pro)! Working on it, but definitely feels good to be heading in the right direction! Maybe, if I can get good enough, you will start seeing some recipes on the blog ;).

The Outfit:

Skirt: This Asos denim skirt is so amazing. The material is thick and really great quality. I love the retro look and I think it will go with pretty much anything! Plus, it is right around $50, which is an amazing price for what you are getting!

Turtleneck: Sold Out, but try out these (1, 2, 3)

Shoes: H&M

Purse: Yes Style (only $30)!! Great Chloe look-a-like!

Lipstick: NARS, color: Greta

Hoops: Nordstrom
