Rounding up all of my NYFW 2019 looks below and some pieces you can get for less to easily recreate the same look! I had so much fun putting all of these outfits together and getting to wear more creative pieces than I normally would here in Dallas.
NYFW 2019 – Looks for Less
We ended up changing our flights on Wednesday to an earlier flight so that we could 1. Meet with a PR company for a big campaign I am about to start. The meeting was SO GOOD- we basically just went over the campaign and it really helped to meet with the team and get a good sense of what the collaboration is all about. Cannot wait to share it with you guys. And 2. We went to a DSW runway show. The show was amazing. The show was all about re-doing the runway and including all women of all sizes (who had never modeled before!) They were so excited and the atmosphere was electric. I am so glad we got to witness it.
We had a pretty busy day on Thursday. It started at 7am when Glam Squad came over to do our hair and makeup. At 9am we met with my Agent for coffee and then with my ShopStyle rep for breakfast. It was so great meeting both of them in person! At noon I went to FourteenJay to get my hair done and Kaylee walked around and explored. I always try to stop in at the salon when I am in town. They always give the best advice and they do an amazing job. At 5pm we went to the Tula party for the Rose Glow and Get It launch and then from there did a quick change & went to the Victoria’s Secret party in Times Square. Both were so much fun!
Friday was also crazy. Our first appt was at 9:30 with Kendra Scott. I am close with their team so it was fun to preview Winter & Spring and to catch up with the girls. The meeting ran super late so we missed our 10:30 appt with Marc Fisher. Most of the meetings were across town from each other all week and we were in one uber or cab to another. At noon we had the most DELICIOUS lunch at The Loring with the Dolce Vita team. After lunch we ran to the French Connection Presentation. The set up was so beautiful but it was pouring rain so they had to move everyone inside. I definitely want to go back to The Standard and take in the view without the rain! After FC we ran by ElizaJ. I have always loved ElizaJ and it was fun to catch up with the designers and get a peek of what is to come with the newest collections! We ran home and changed and walked to the Rosé Mansion for my friend Jasmine Elias’ party. Kaylee and I found some Italian food after the party and walked home and crashed early!
On Saturday we had Glam Squad back at 7am and then I went to Dumbo to shoot a couple of looks that you will see on here soon! It was FREEZING so after the shoot I put on this sweater below. I was so glad I did. I was so cozy in it all day. We started with a party with Evereve and 7 for all Mankind. We got to pick out a pair of jeans and they had someone there painting on them if you wanted. Then we ran and got a drink in Chelsea before the Rebecca Minkoff presentation. Unfortunately we didn’t end up getting to see the presentation because right when we were about to walk in we had some friends walk out and they told us not to do it. Apparently there was a long line inside and it would have taken an hour to walk through and it was hot and stuffy in there. We decided to pass on it and went and had lunch at The Jane Hotel instead. Food is a powerful motivator haha and we were all so hungry! That night we had drinks at the Royalton Park Avenue and then went to a WWD party. After the party we had dinner at Mercer Kitchen and then went to a late night show at Comedy Cellar. We didn’t get back home til 3am!
Our last day in NYC was a tourist day. Kaylee had never been so there were still a few things I wanted to show her. We started with lunch at Tavern on the Green in Central Park. If you have never been to NYC I highly recommend doing lunch in Central Park. The Loeb Boathouse is even cuter but I needed to be on the edge of the park because we had a Broadway Show to catch. I was pretty sick on Sunday so we actually sold The Book of Mormon Broadway tickets and we walked around Central Park instead. We sat on the steps of the Met and then took a cab to Flatiron. I wanted to her to see alll the landmarks. The funnest part of the day was finding a hole in the wall sports bar to watch the Cowboys/Giants game. Then we went home, packed up, and went to bed early!
I hope you loved this NYFW 2019 Looks for Less post. I will do these from now on since I know some of the things I wear are unattainable for some of you guys! Want more New York Fashion Week? Check out my posts HERE from the last couple of years to see how my style has evolved.
