If you’ve been following me for a while, you know that we have been renovating our home! It’s been a process but I have been so happy how everything turned out so far, and it’s been fun to transform our home into a space that we love so much! If you missed it, check out the posts I wrote on our home reno part 1 and part 2.
In renovating our home and adding all of the finishing touches, we got new window treatments in our living room, kitchen and dining nook, primary bedroom, primary bathroom, and office. Our window treatments were done by Scott and his team at Budget Blinds in Castle Rock and you guys… the window treatments turned out SO good so I knew I had to share everything with you. Window treatments make such a difference and I’m so glad I partnered with Budget Blinds since they were so amazing, efficient, and great to work with. If you’re in the Denver area definitely book a free consultation with Scott, I’m convinced everything wouldn’t have tuned out so great if we didn’t work together!
Okay, so now the process. To start I had my designer come out and meet with Budget Blinds here at the house so I could make sure everything we picked out would go with our renovation designs. For each room in the house I had different ideas of what I wanted and Budget Blinds was so accommodating. For the kitchen and living room we wanted something chic and simple that would let plenty of light in but still allow for privacy. For the bedroom and office we did complete blackout electric shades that we can control with a remote. For the bathroom we used the same shades as the bedroom and office without the blackout feature so that we could still use the bathroom during the day without having to turn the light on. I knew there was a lot of work to be done but I was so excited to see the final result!
For the specific blinds we wanted, lead times for these were about 8-12 weeks and it did take about 12 weeks to get them in and installed. If you’re interested in getting window treatments done I would definitely book a free consultation with Scott ASAP to get the process started since it does take some time. But it was totally worth it, when we saw the finished installation we were in love! Window treatments really do elevate the home and being able to control exactly what you want in each space and consult with an expert is the best. Plus, since they add so much value to the home, you usually get your money back if you go to sell!
