Having a hard time transitioning to Spring? You only need ONE item for a seasonal transition= overalls. I am partnering with Backcountry today to share my favorite overalls to wear now and into the upcoming Spring and Summer seasons.

If I am outdoors here in Colorado, I am usually wearing Backcountry. I just feel like I can find the most comfortable, yet still stylish, clothing from there. Their selection is tailored towards people who want to get outdoors and explore. On this particular day we were babysitting our friend’s golden retriever, Sampson, so we wanted him to be able to run around at the park with us. We went to Lions Park in Golden (one of our favorites), and walked up the river to eat at Woody’s. If you are ever visiting Denver, stop in Golden. Walk around downtown and explore everything Golden has to offer. It is one of our favorite towns! If you are stopping in for a drink, go to The Golden Mill- our favorite tap house in the area.

I am wearing the BEST overalls I have ever put on. They are comfortable and I love the style (which isn’t a surprise to me since I love anything by Free People.) I love shopping Free People at Backcountry because like I said above, it is all tailored towards MOVEMENT and what would be comfortable to move around in. These particular overalls come in this wash and an even lighter wash that I now want to grab. They fit true to size and you can truly wear them in any season. In order to style for the weather, you can simply trade out the long sleeve for something chunkier/thicker or for a tank or crop top. Leave the boots at home and grab Teva’s or sneakers. So many options to make overalls work for any season!

Get The Look

Now, for the rest of my outfit: I knew it was going to get a little chillier that night so I threw on one of my favorite long sleeve layering tees from Free People (I also own it in black.) You can wear it on or off the shoulder. I knew I needed a beanie, and I had just gotten this sherpa one on sale for under $30! I love it! I think the majority of my hats are from Backcountry. I am also loving the spring colors in the Coal beanies right now.

I have been wearing these pink boots for a few weeks now and reach for them all the time. They are so comfortable and I love the chunky sole trend.

I grabbed my mini Fjallraven backpack (I have four now, all from Backcountry: two minis and two full size.) The mini is big enough to hold my Hydroflask, which I like carrying around for myself and to fill up the kid’s water bottles or for when I need to give Sampson a refill. You can shop all of these below!
