Timeless Spring Styles

Creating a timeless Spring wardrobe is really quite simple. You just need to shop for items that you know you will wear year after year. Items you will wear whether you are 20 or 30.

That may be a lot to think about, so I am here to help! Here are two timeless spring styles I am loving right now:

The Black Shift Dress

A good black shift dress needs to be in every woman’s wardrobe. It can be work to work with pumps and a blazer, it can be worn on a date night with some heeled sandals and a red lip, it can be belted, etc. There are endless ways to wear a black shift dress.

Oh, and this dress will never be out of style. You will reach for it week after week, year after year.

The Pencil Skirt

A good pencil skirt will NEVER go out of style.

I had to grab this white pencil skirt because I am always soooo excited to wear white once the weather warms up. I don’t go by the ‘no white after labor day’ rule, but I always find myself gravitating towards white more when the sun comes out- which is usually in the Spring/Summer.

This skirt comes in four colors and I probably would have bought all of them if I still worked in an office. The classic tortoise button adds a stylish touch.

It is made with stretch cotton and it is super flattering on any figure. It has a wide band on it which makes it perfect for tucking your tops into!

I paired this pencil skirt with this incredibly soft short sleeve sweater (fits true to size and comes in 5 colors) and these super chic nude slingback pumps.

The Classic Trench

You can be 100% SURE that M&S (based out of London) has the best trench coats!

I am so in love with this one I am wearing here and you will not believe the price for this classic piece.

This double breasted trench comes in 7 colors. I am wearing Dark Stone in a US 2 (order true to size for this particular style!) It has a Stormwear™ water-repellant finish, which you will need during all of the Spring showers.

It fits perfectly, will keep you warm, and it is very comfortable. This is definitely a coat that you should add to your Spring wardrobe asap.
