Hawaii Vacation- Week 1

Wednesday

The flight went great ya’ll! I wish I hadn’t been so anxious about it, but I don’t know how I would not have been either! I wrote a post right after we got here called TIPS FOR TRAVELING WITH A TODDLER hoping that you guys will have a great flight too!

We got our rental car, stopped at Target, and then ran to Safeway for groceries. Here is everything we grabbed at Target for the trip (we didn’t rent because we are here for so long and it would have cost so much more than just buying the items! We will send the pack n play with my parents and the stroller will be coming back with us!)

Thursday

We had to stay in most of the week due to the rain, but if it let up any we would go out for a run. I wore the most amazing $15 Amazon tank that first morning and you guys went crazy over it too! It comes in so many colors and it is so dang soft and breathable.

Under the top I had on a super supportive and cute strappy sports bra (also from Amazon!)

That first night we ate at Monkeypod- our favorite restaurant! I recommend: the Mai Tais (they put a passion fruit foam on top, potstickers, the ahi seared tuna steak (best we have ever had), and the strawberry pie is to DIE FOR!

Friday

It rained all day Friday so we stayed in! These are the leopard pjs I brought! They are incredibly soft, and so light!

For dinner we braved the rain and went to Taverna, an italian restaurant in Kapalua. We thought it was OK, but probably won’t eat there again. Plus, I got sick that night and I am pretty sure it was from what I ordered. I ordered carbonara and it was basically just fetticini alfredo. Troy did like his lasagna though!

I wore a beautiful maxi that I now want in more colors! It was my top most clicked on product from last week.

Miller wore an Aloha romper that we found at a boutique here in Maui!

Saturday

On Saturday we had a huge break in the rain! I went running anddddd even sat by the pool for a little bit while Miller DID NOT swim haha. The pool was freezing! She just ran around in the grass.

For the jog I wore another Amazon fitness ensemble I brought! This tank is also super soft and the sports bra is one of the most supportive ones I have found to date!

For the swim I wore this leopard pom suit. The striped version of this suit was in my top 10 products of 2019 and for good reason- it is amazing! It made me feel confident in my mom body right after having Miller. You guys sold out the leopard suit, but you still grab it now for Feb shipment! In the meantime, make sure to check out the other prints!

For dinner Saturday night we went to Aloha Mixed Plate. It was AMAZING! Definitely adding it to our MUST LIST! We both had the mixed plate and I highly recommend the Mai Tais and the Pineapple Upside Down Cake! If you get there early enough the Mai Tais are only $4! It is right on the water and the cutest place!

Sunday

Sunday was pretty boring because it rained all day again! We did manage to get out and get a run in, but I didn’t get to snap a picture! Here is what I wore:

That night we braved the rain and went to another one of our favorite spots- Star Noodle. Definitely a must when you are in Maui- make sure to book it a couple weeks in advance- at least! Our favorites- pork buns, scallop shots,  and the garlic noodles! We got those again this time around but are going to order completely different when we go next week.

I wore a mini dress from one of my favorites – Tiare Hawaii. Miller wore a $10 dress my mom bought her from H&M.
