What to say about David’s Bridal that hasn’t been said already?
David’s Bridal is definitely a brand most of you have heard of, but I went behind the scenes and can’t wait to share the entire appointment experience that you have when you visit a store.
Meet The Stylist
My best friend got her wedding dress and all of her bridesmaids dresses at David’s Bridal, so I always had it down as a store to visit for my own bridal needs.
Immediately upon walking in and signing up I was greeted by so many friendly faces. You could tell every employee in the store LOVED what they did. I love seeing that.
My own stylist, Chanelle, greeted me with a handshake and a huge smile. She was so excited to help me that it made me so excited to be in there!
We talked a little about the venue, the date, what I was looking for, and what I had already envisioned for my wedding. As soon as I was done giving her my answers, she was off.
Chanelle watched me as I pulled some dresses that I loved, and immediately found something similar but 10x better for what I had in mind. I was in awe. How did she come to know me so well in just ten minutes?
We started looking at bridesmaid dresses and she pulled a few options for different body types so that I could envision them on my friends.
She told me which brands had what lead time, and which colors would take longer. Did you know that if you ordered a white dress instead of ivory that you actually have to special order it?
Chanelle was so great about giving me all the options. She told me about all of the designers they carried and pulled styles she knew I would love.
She literally turned what I thought would be a three hour process into a one hour session and I left feeling like I had found EXACTLY what I wanted!!
David’s Bridal
The stylist experience at David’s Bridal was so amazing. But everything else going on in the store attributed to my great experience as well.
Every time someone said YES to the dress, bells and cheers would go off throughout the store. They love celebrating with you.
I was never rushed, and everyone in the store was so eager to help.
The brand has some core values that I have always admired as well:
–Inclusivity. They order more options, sizes, and styles than anyone else. They celebrate and help every bride that walks into their store.
–Authenticity. They help their bride search for and find “the one” that best reflects who she is. They do this by giving her more opportunity to find a gown that suits her in every way. They aren’t just trying to ‘push’ a dress on their brides that they want to sell. It is truly all about what the bride wants.
–Empowerment. They make brides feel so confident throughout the entire process. I will never forget how many compliments I received in that store. It was just such a great feeling.
Chanelle and I started the appointment with a handshake and ended with at least two huge hugs. Definitely going to keep in touch with her no matter what I decide!
Make sure you guys check out David’s Bridal whether you are looking for a wedding dress, a bridesmaid dress, or even a dress for a special occasion.
