I originally had planned on sharing the best face masks for every skin type at the end of April, but since a few of these are on sale right now at Sephora (until April 19th) I wanted to go ahead and get it up for you guys! Plus, Mother’s Day is around the corner and is time to TREAT YOURSELF to one or all of these masks below- you won’t regret it!
I consider myself a face mask connoisseur. I mask nearly every single day of the week. I have tried them ALL and these are, in my opinion, the five best face masks for every skin type in no particular order:
The 5 Best Face Masks for Every Skin Type
1.Colleen Rothschild Intense Hydrating Mask
Need something super hydrating? This is it! This has SAVED my skin from getting too dry here in CO. I love putting it on after being outdoors for awhile, while sitting on an airplane (super drying for your skin), and just at night when I feel like my skin needs some moisture.
Application: You can apply this at night, sleep in it, and then go about your business the next morning. It does not need to be washed off. I will put it on in the morning sometimes when I know I won’t be putting on makeup that day as well, especially when I know I will be at a higher elevation.
Smell: It smells INCREDIBLE! Hard to describe but it smells very clean.
Price: It is on sale right now for 25% off with code BEST25. That makes it only $33.75.

2. Summer Fridays Overtime Mask
I think this one honestly shocked me after trying it. I had it in my office for MONTHS before finally actually trying it. It was sent in a pr package with some other products and I just had never heard of it so it never came to mind when I went to grab a mask each night.
This mask blew me away. It is by far the best exfoliating mask out there!!!! I heard it flew off the shelves in most Sephora stores when their sale started, but luckily they still have stock online.
It is formulated with vitamin A and C, which help with brightening your skin and the gentle exfoliating beads help renew skin that looks dull. It leaves you with the MOST GORGEOUS GLOW and your skin will feel so soft after use.
Application: Apply a thick layer and rub in circles for 60 seconds. Rinse off after 10 minutes.
Smell: This smells like pumpkin pie!
Price: 10-20% off right now with code OMGSPRING and code FREESHIP depending on which level you are on at Sephora. If you don’t have a Sephora account you can join today and get the 10% off. This makes it range from $35.20- $39.60.
Let me know in a comment below what else I need to try from Summer Fridays!
3.T.L.C. Sukari Babyfacial™ AHA + BHA Mask
I just wish I had tried this sooner. I heard about it for years and years before finally pulling the trigger. If you remember, a couple of months back I did a poll on your favorite face masks that I should try. This was at the top of the list. I figured it couldn’t hurt to try. I almost didn’t buy it since it only had 4 stars on Sephora.
I AM SO GLAD I DID. It lives up to it’s name. After you wash this off you definitely feel like you just came from getting a facial. My skin has never felt softer than that first time I did this mask. It is baby skin smooth! I could go on and on about this mask. It is 100% worth the hype. Ah, it is amazing.
Application: It stings a little when you apply. The bottle even suggests working up to longer wear each time. It tells you to start at 10 minutes and eventually keep it on longer with more use- up to 20 minutes. Apply once a week.
Smell: Not much smell to this one at all.
Price: 10-20% off right now with code OMGSPRING and code FREESHIP depending on which level you are on at Sephora. If you don’t have a Sephora account you can join today and get the 10% off. This makes it range from $35.20- $39.60.
4. Clarins V-Facial Intensive Wrap
When you wake up and everything is puffy, you apply this mask! It is especially amazing after a long night of drinking or crying. I can feel like a balloon in the morning but after ten minutes wearing this mask my face looks and feels completely normal again.
It is great to wear before important events, big meetings, and so on. It is 100% worth every penny. There is a reason this has a cult following. It really works!
Application: Smooth a thick layer over your face and leave for 10 min. Rinse.
Smell: Smells very clean and light.
Price: 10-20% off right now with code OMGSPRING and code FREESHIP depending on which level you are on at Sephora. If you don’t have a Sephora account you can join today and get the 10% off. This makes it range from $35.20- $39.60.
5. Tula Beauty Sleep Overnight Treatment
This is my all-time favorite mask, EVER. Nothing can compete with it in my personal opinion. It just leaves your skin looking very youthful and plump.
This is your go-to mask for younger-looking skin. It is formulated to target fine lines and wrinkles. Honestly I am getting excited thinking about you guys finally trying this mask. You will be AMAZED! There is a reason this has won tons of awards.
Application: Apply at night and leave on your skin. No need to wash off the next morning.
Smell: Not great, but not horrible. I never minded it but I have had some people tell me that they don’t love the smell. It is worth it!
Price: Get 15% off with code MILLER. This is the most expensive mask on this list, but it is also the best. It is a mix of the Clarins mask and the Colleen Rothschild mask. Price is $54.4 with the promo code.
You can also grab this mask in Tula’s newest kit (also 15% off with code MILLER)! It is a kit full of their ageless products. It also contains my favorite moisturizer- Protect & Plump!
These all do something different for your skin, so you can buy all 5 and wear each one time a week to keep your skin looking IT’S BEST!
Despite popular opinion, the Peter Thomas Roth face masks just didn’t do anything for my skin. I could not tell or feel a difference after application. I used the Rose Stem Cell Mask for a month before finally giving up on it. I bought two bottles so I actually just shipped the other one to my sister.
I also have tried a few charcoal masks, and while both charcoal and clay masks are great, they just didn’t make the top 5 list.
In my opinion, after trial and error, these are the five best face masks for any skin type. I would to hear if these make your top 5 list as well, or if there is a different mask that you think should be on here.
