Has anyone else sent their Christmas list to their family yet? I put together this huge Google doc and sent out a massive email and just told everyone to fill it out on there. So they have actually had my Christmas list for a couple of weeks already! I cannot even tell you how much I love Christmas!! My parents have just made the entire experience so special for us, so it is something we look forward to starting January 1st.

If you walk into my parent’s house (usually early November), you will think you are walking into Santa’s Workshop. I will definitely send you guys some snaps of the set up. We always have a massive tree with a train that circles around it. You can find life size Nutcrackers, a nativity scene, and over 50 Santas and Angels located around the house. Each ornament means something, so we all take turns putting the ornaments on the tree.
My dad has always like to decorate the house for holidays. My little sister was born on Halloween and he would decorate the entire house like a haunted house and throw her big birthday parties there. It is adorable. We love it and we love helping him decorate!
I can’t deny that I especially love when we open up the gifts. We sit in a circle and take turns opening. We enjoy giving more than receiving, so we want to make sure we can see people’s faces when they open their gifts. Being a fashion blogger, I think my family has some difficulty picking out presents for me, so I usually get to pick them all out myself :). I don’t hate it! Now that my sister has become a foster parent, I am really looking forward sharing the Miller Christmas with them.
These Stuart Weitzman All Legs boots were definitely on my list. I was going to ask for a gift card to help me with the purchase… but some things you just can’t wait for! I got a bonus at work and just decided to go for it! Soooo MERRY CHRISTMAS TO ME! They were well worth it. These are classic, beautiful, and I am so proud of them! Before I decided on the purchase, I definitely looked into some less expensive options. You can see all of those on my #countdowntochristmas collage below (including a SW look-a-like for less than $60!) That means I still need more ideas for Christmas gifts. If you want to see my Christmas list as I update it, look at the SHOP tab on my home page and find the ‘Christmas List’ tab!

I love this outfit! Great boots!! I got the SW lowland OTK boots in a burgundy colour and I LOVE them! Definitely worth the splurge! In my family we do a Secret Santa for the adults and we all buy for the kids. I always send out a list for gift ideas right after Canadian Thanksgiving. My tastes are definitely different from my families!!
