How many of you like to grab a drink after work? I love unwinding with a glass of wine after work, and it is a great time for singles because you can find other like-minded people at this time of day. Plus, you can’t beat the drink specials! Sometimes, a drink after work even turns into a long, extremely fun, night that you will definitely regret the next day! There are two reasons why I always miss out on drinks after work: 1. makeup and 2. an appropriate outfit. I often have friends invite me to basketball games, or to fun charity events that I would have to go directly to straight from work. I ALWAYS say no. I cannot even count how many times I have missed out on some really great events. I always tell my friends, “You know you have to give me more notice.” But it isn’t their fault, it’s mine. I need to be more spontaneous. I need to be ready.

The problem is, I don’t wear makeup to work, but there is no way in hell (yes, I said hell) that I am going outside in front of people who aren’t my coworkers without my makeup on. This new Bobbi Brown palette has the most beautiful shades in it. You can go neutral at work, and then spice it up like I did here. I literally took three minutes and gave my eyes a smokey cat-eye makeover! The palette also has a really pretty glitter shade that you can pat on your cheeks to give them some shine. This Bobbi Brown palette can fit in a small purse or clutch, and folds out to reveal four brushes and a mirror!

From that point, I just needed to spruce up my outfit a bit. Business casual attire can be a little too dressy for where you might be heading. You want to be able to make your outfit a little more casual to fit your surroundings. All I had to do with this outfit was pull my skirt up a little and unbutton a few buttons and BAM! I was ready to hit the town (in a classy)! The shoes (read more on them HERE) are already sexy enough for work or play, so I didn’t even need to change them! Plus, they are so comfortable that I can dance the night away and not have to worry about my feet killing me!
