I have seen so many posts titled ‘different ways to wear scarves’ but I never see people use these three tricks. These are some of the ONLY ways I wear scarves! Three DIFFERENT Ways to Wear A Blanket Scarf (and when I say different, I mean ways you normally wouldn’t wear it):
- As a shawl. Scarves were made to keep you warm. What better way to keep you warm than you wrap it around your body? I love wearing scarves as shawls, especially at weddings or special events. I have a light pink wool scarf that I always wear around my shoulders. It is called a BLANKET scarf after all!
- As an infinity scarf. I like the tie the two ends together and wear it as an infinity scarf. I think it is so cute this way and it doesn’t hide your entire outfit like a regular blanket scarf would. You can easily tuck the little knot you make into the back and no one will even see it! The top photo shows me wearing it this way.
- As an accessory. I love putting my scarf around my handbag and wearing it that way. It is a cute accessory but it is also handy for you to grab when you get cold!

Wearing an oversized scarf as a shawl/poncho with a belt, is my favorite go to. You’re right..they are meant to keep you warm so why not wrap up in one.
