The Pointe on 30A:
Make sure you see Part 1 of my Florida trip as well so that you don’t miss any of my outfits or restaurant suggestions.
We checked into The Pointe on 30A on Sunday afternoon. This resort-style condo complex blew us away! It is so gorgeous!
The condos at The Pointe are now for sale, but you can rent them out now before they are all bought. After they are bought you will probably be able to rent them from the owners as well when you are in town!
The Pointe has basically everything you need and it is brand new. I am pretty sure we were the first ones to stay in our unit! We had a full kitchen, washer/dryer, and an amazing balcony overlooking the pool. Oh and I cannot forget to mention the massive garden bathtub! So relaxing!
Our unit had two bedrooms, and each bedroom had a huge walk-in closet that you could stow all of your luggage in. This is always so important to me, because if I keep it in my room it will end up strewn all over the floor.
When you stay/live at The Pointe you have access to a fire pit by the resort-style pool and on the rooftop. You are a 5 minute walk from the beach, you can rent bikes to get around on, and you can rent chairs and umbrellas for the beach!
They are also going to be opening a restaurant within the resort where you you can grab breakfast, lunch, and dinner! Oh, and did I mention the full-service coffee bar?!
As you can see from the photos above, who wouldn’t want to live here!?
We spent most of our time down by the heated pool at the complex. The chairs were so comfortable and we loved hanging out in the cabanas. When we weren’t at the pool we were hanging out on Rosemary Beach, which is walking distance from the condo.
Here are some looks during my stay at The Pointe on 30A:

Sunday Night:
On Sunday night we went to dinner at La Crema on Rosemary Beach. Hands down the best place for dinner during your stay on 30A. It has such a great atmosphere and of course food. Make sure to order the chocolate fondue!! I wish I could remember which wine we had because it was so delicious too. We wanted to stay there all night.

Monday Morning:
On Monday morning we walked over to Donut Hole. They have tons of donuts (obviously) but they have a full kitchen and you can order pretty much anything for breakfast that you want! I had pancakes, bacon, eggs, etc. There are also games outside like corn hole and ping pong that you can play while you wait.

Monday Night:
After spending the entire day at the beach and pool (and after all of our donuts) we were exhausted. All we wanted was some good fried food. We tried going to a place called Cowgirl Kitchen in Rosemary Beach that was recommended to us, but they were closing early for a private event. Definitely going to have to check it out when we get back.
We ended up at a Mexican food place called La Cocina. It was basically like On The Border. I wouldn’t recommend going there! Their food was just OK and their margaritas were way too tart. I think one of the girls actually had to send their back!
Tuesday Day:

Tuesday was our last full day so we soaked up the sun and relaxed. We heard about a great chicken salad place called Chicken Salad Chicks so we drove there for lunch. It was around 15 minutes from the resort, back towards the Panama City Airport.
It was OK chicken salad but there were gnats flying everywhere inside the restaurant. When one landed on my chicken salad we left! I think there were 10 swarming around us at one time. I don’t think it is worth the drive, and we probably will not be back :/. If you want to try it out, I would recommend grabbing it to-go!
Tuesday Night:
We went all out the last night and stopped for a drink at The Pearl Hotel before heading to dinner at Caliza. The Pearl is the cutest Hotel and should definitely be on your list to visit for a drink!
Caliza was was beside a gorgeous pool in Alys Beach. I would definitely recommend going before sundown so you can see everything around you. I had the fresh fish of the day and it was delicious!
Wednesday Day:
We had to check out at 1 pm so we walked down to the beach one last time! The airport is so easy to get in and out of and only about 20 minutes from The Pointe on 30A.
30A:
I would DEFINITELY plan a trip to 30A in your near future. If you can, grab one of the condos at The Pointe on 30A before they are all sold.
If you want to try out the area first, contact them about renting a unit during your stay! You have a resort-style pool, 5 minute access to the beach, and are walking distance to so many fun, beautiful places!
More Photos from our stay:
I will be posting these to Instagram in the next couple of days, so you got to see/shop them here first on the blog!
