Guys, I am beyond excited to be working with Ann Taylor again!! They are one of my favorite brands EVER!! Plus, I continuously shop there anyway so I always have plenty to talk about and style!
Today I want to share some of their new holiday style pieces.
Holiday Style with Ann Taylor
With the holiday festivities upon us, we have to act fast when it comes to finding outfits for social events. It seems like there is just so much to shop for in December and January.
We usually need something for work holiday parties, social parties at friend’s houses, festive dinners, etc. People also usually pick this time of the year for weddings, engagement parties, and so on. Let’s not forget NYE either!
It is soooo hard to pull out that same outfit/dress you wore last year, I know. That is why I want to share a few new holiday styles from Ann Taylor that you can’t go wrong with and that won’t break the bank:
First, we have this gorgeous red wrap dress. You can wear this to just about ALL of the events I listed below. Wrap dresses are also super becoming on everyone. They always have that lovely tie that helps hide our little pudges (from too much Thanksgiving pie and turkey!) They also shape the waist and are usually a great length.
Ann Taylor always does such a good job creating pieces that can be worn for work or for play. This red number is no exception!
I paired it with these gorgeous black heeled sandals and added this A necklace for a personal touch. These initial necklaces would also make the perfect gift or stocking stuffer. They are flying off the shelf so make sure to grab your initial today!
Lastly, make sure to grab these fun pom heels to go with everything you have planned this holiday season! Seriously obsessed and all of Ann Taylor’s shoes are sooo comfortable. You will be able to walk/stand in these all night without any discomfort.
I will be wearing the second outfit while in Omaha. They are a little more casual there (pants instead of dresses), so this will be perfect!
Our Holiday Plans
My little sister comes in on the 15th so we are doing Christmas with my family that week instead of actual Christmas week.
For Christmas week we are heading to Omaha , Nebraska with Miller! It will be her first plane ride. Any tips for us? We bought the Doona to travel with and my mother-in-law already bought diapers and wipes and borrowed a pack in play! Are we missing anything?
I am really hoping for snow in Nebraska. A white Christmas!! I NEVER get to see snow. Troy said we could go on an actual sleigh ride if it is snowing!! We would have to leave Miller behind for that one haha.
No plans for NYE. We honestly can’t even make it to midnight these days. We will probably have a glass of wine and watch a movie and call it a night! Sounds perfect to me!

You look gorgeous in both outfits. The red wrap dress is beautiful on you. Can’t believe you had a baby a month ago. Congratulations on the birth of your baby girl.
Try to get Miller to nurse while on take off and landing to equalize the pressure in her ears. Don’t worry about making a racket on the plane. We have all been there, done that! 😀
Safe travels. Enjoy the snow! Bring clothes you can layer (tights/ leggings under pants, etc….) to stay warm and comfortable outdoors. Layers are key so you can add or strip as needed.
It’s been 13 years since I’ve flown with a newborn, but actually just the other day I was talking with her about how bad her ears used to get when we flew. So you will want to try to feed her or give her her paci during take off and decent. Also keep in mind that many fellow travelers have probably been there, done that so don’t stress out as I’m a believer that babies pick up on our stress and that stresses them out.
