Our wedding was so magical and I am soooo excited that I finally get to show you photos from it!
I will be releasing these a little at a time and I will be taking you through the wedding weekend chronologically.
Make sure you see these Wedding posts so far so that you can get the full timeline of events:
Day 2 of Our Wedding Weekend- Lake Moraine, Canada
Our Rehearsal Dinner in Canmore, Canada
At the end we will have posts up on why we picked Canmore, why we had our wedding on a Monday, and so much more! Hopefully these posts help you plan your own wedding in the future!!
Getting Ready:
We had so much fun getting ready! We did mimosas, fruit plates, sandwiches, etc and all of my bridesmaid and family were there.
Me and Emmy getting ready on my big day! She was my flower girl naturally 🙂
Hair done by The Pretty Haus in Canada
My grandma getting her makeup done! It was the sweetest thing!!!

Facetiming one of my best friends who couldn’t make it to the wedding because she had her baby two weeks before!
My gorgeous makeup from The Pretty Haus!
My dad definitely joined in on the celebration of the morning! He helped us so much with logistics and making sure we had everything we needed!
Putting on My Dress
I don’t know about you, but I had been waiting my entire life for the ‘putting on the dress’ moment with my mom and sisters! It was everything I imagined it would be. I had already been through it with my two sisters so I knew how meaningful it would be, but it is that and so much more when it happens to you! So hard to explain! Anyone agree? Comment below if so!
My beautiful momma getting my wedding dress out of the bag!! How amazing was her mother-of-the-bride dress?
My sister’s beautiful gold sequin dresses were from Watters!
Dress is on!! Eeeek! I cried when I first tried this dress on at Bridal Boutique of Lewisville. That’s how I knew it was the one!
My dress is from Berta. I definitely recommend checking out their selection before you get married! So unique and timeless.
This is a great shot of how pretty the back is!
I picked up this white floral hair pin three days before I left for my wedding. I got it at the Mockingbird Bridal store, which is actually where my mom and both of my sisters bought their wedding dresses <3.
The train was actually attached to a belt that I pulled over my head to take on and off!
Seriously the most beautiful train (and yes, I am biased!)
Cue the tears!
All of us together for one last shot!
Vendors:
Dress– Berta Dress from Bridal Boutique of Lewisville. BB of Lewisville was actually having a Berta trunk show the weekend of my appointment (thank goodness!!) Make sure to check out all of the different trunk shows they have because you can find so many more options from your favorite wedding dress designers.
Bridal Hair Pin– My floral hair pin is from Mockingbird Bridal. I actually swung by there three days before I left for my wedding. My mom and two sisters all got their dresses from Mockingbird Bridal so I wanted to find SOMETHING to be able to have on from there as well. Gotta carry the tradition on! I traded this hair pin out for a floral one after the ceremony.
Bridesmaid Dresses– All of my bridesmaid dresses are from Watters. I will have a full post on this at a later date! My sisters wore gold sequin dresses and the rest of the girls wore champagne colored chiffon dresses.
Bridesmaid Robes– Yumi Kim just came out with a selection of floral robes and sent me these for my bridesmaids! They were beautiful!!
Hair and Makeup– The Pretty Haus did SUCH an amazing job with all of our hair and makeup! My makeup was ready by 10am and lasted me all day and night! We unfortunately had a bout of rain right in the middle of my ceremony (more on that later) so my hair didn’t hold up quit as well haha! Not their fault though and we did get some beautiful photos before the rain came!
Photography– All of my wedding photography is from Adria Lea Photography. Definitely the best their is! She is located in DFW but will also travel!
Location– We got ready in our beautiful house that we found online! It has three bedrooms, a pull out bed in the living room, and so much space for all of us to get ready in. We also had a welcome party here the first night! You can book this for as low as $130 a night right now (highly recommend it!)
Next post coming soon and it will feature all of the photos from our first look!

Amanda, thank you for sharing these incredible wedding photos. You look absolutely flawless! Your gown was a perfect choice. You have such a beautiful family
Your dress was so pretty! I definitely got that special feeling when I slipped into my wedding dress. It almost felt surreal. I also remember feeling so relaxed getting ready. My brother came in to our room to watch hair and make up and he had us cracking up the whole time. It took the pressure off the day!
