What is a pinafore dress? I am sure by now you have heard all about pinafore dresses. If you want to know what they are, you can probably ask your mother or grandmother! Just like hook earrings and bell bottoms, this is a trend we have picked back up from a long, long time ago! This navy pinafore dress is a perfect example of how we can mix old styles with modern trends!

Pinafore dresses are just dresses that are usually sleeveless and meant to be worn over a top. Pretty simple definition, huh? Not all are simple in detail, like the one I am wearing here. I love how this navy pinafore dress buttons up right down the middle! There are so many things you can pair under it.
When it is really cold outside you can pair this navy pinafore dress with a sweater, like my friend The Middle Closet did here. Once it gets a little warmer out you can put a short sleeve turtleneck under it, like the bodysuit I wore in this post. When it is in the middle.. try the look I am sporting here!
