*my travel look to NYC
Grey Sweater I Denim Jeans I Burgundy Booties I Green Tote I Navy Suitcase
Another September, another New York Fashion Week. I used to go in February too but it just got way too cold for me. Now I have to wait an entire year for September to roll around again.
I love NYFW because I get to see all of my other blogging friends from around the world and I get to be a little more elevated with my outfits (I get to be more creative!)
Here is my schedule and what I wore for Day 1 and 2 of New York Fashion Week:
New York Fashion Week Day 1- Thursday
*What I wore to the Shopbop pop-up! I matched so perfectly with the marigold setup!
Gold Sweater I Gold Skirt I Black Booties I Striped Crossbody
I started my morning with a Drybar appointment. They added a new style called ‘The Old Fashioned’ that I am so in love with. Next time you have an event you should definitely try that style out! Perfect for a wedding or black tie party.
After Drybar I had lunch with one of my roomies and then went to the Sachin & Babi Runway Show. This was the first time I was invite to see Sachin & Babi so I was really excited! I hope you saw the show on my Instagram Story, but if not you can see the collection here.
I am not really big into seeing shows anymore. I would much rather go to a meeting, showroom, or presentation. Or I would just rather be grabbing food and/or drinks with friends in town. I think I skipped every show but three during Fashion Week this year!
I went to Sachin & Babi because I had never seen it before and it was the very first show for me of the week. So glad I went!
*another purchase from Shopbop! MLM Label is one of my favorite brands!
Polka Dot Romper I White Belt I Metallic Booties I Metallic Crossbody I White Sunglasses
After Sachin & Babi I went to a little popup that Shopbop was hosting. Shopbop is an online retailer that I shop at weekly. You have probably seen Shopbop a lot on my blog because I always post about their amazing Friends and Family Sale! One is actually coming up so keep an eye out for that one. You can get 25% off the entire site (talking on all designers like Tory Burch, Rebecca Minkoff, etc!)
The popup was amazing. They had their Fall collection set up, a swing, a bunch of leaves, puppies, etc. Yes, PUPPIES! You could adopt dogs there! Took everything not to bring one home with me.
After Shopbop I went to the Bollare showroom. Bollare is a PR firm that reps some amazing brands. They had denim Wrangler jackets that you could engrave! I picked out one shirt that I will show you guys soon. I didn’t have room in my suitcase for anything else :/.
*A casual look you can wear for NYFW or for a night out wherever you live!
Leopard Duster (sold out but similar here) I Black Top I Black Jeans I Black Handbag I Black Heels
After Bollare I ran back to my Airbnb for a shoot with one of my Dallas photographers, Angie Garcia.
From there I went to the Tadashi Runway Show. You can see their collection here. Always so beautiful!
On Thursday night we went to a party thrown by Sam Edelman and then a private Shopbop cocktail party to celebrate their new logo. Both parties were super fun and I finally fell into bed around 1am.
New York Fashion Week Day 2- Friday
* Loved this blue on blue look! I wore it with a white bralette and white booties.
Blue Top I Navy Skirt (comes in regular, petite, and tall)I White Booties I White Bag I White Bralette I White Earrings
Friday was a lot of fun! It started with getting my hair done at Fourteen Jay Salon. By far my favorite salon in NYC. If you live there or ever need your hair done while visiting, make sure to check them out!
I walked from the salon to the Club Monaco Presentation near the World Trade Center Memorial. It was so amazing to see in person. Serious breathtaking. I actually gasped when I walked up to it. I am always in NYC during September 11 every year, but had never seen the memorial :(.
The Club Monaco Presentation was amazing! See their ready-to-shop collection HERE.
*The perfect outfit for the rewardStyle HQ balcony! I also matched perfectly with the LTK Heart Wall! I will post a picture of that soon!
Pink Denim Top I White Belt I Denim Skirt I White Booties
I then took a cab to Grand Central Station to see the Kate Spade Presentation. By far the funnest presentation I have seen so far. It was New Orleans style and they had a band and everything! You can see that collection HERE. I wear Kate Spade a lot (see here, here and here), so this was definitely a highlight of my trip.
After the Kate Spade Presentation I stopped by rewardStyle’s HQ. They had an amazing spot in Midtown with a great view. They had a DJ there and a full bar. I sat around for awhile and talked to a bunch of my fellow blogger friends that were in town and then walked around the corner to see the new Liketoknow.it heart wall!
There was a candy store across the street and I bought a $20 bag of chocolate… it was hilarious and we maybe got halfway through it by the end of the week.
*First time wearing clear glasses like this and I LOVED IT! Definitely get these guys- only $12!
Clear Glasses I Plaid Top I Leather Pants I Leather Shoes (amazing and come in tons of colors)I Green Tory Burch Tote
I then had another shoot with a Houston photographer I love with the nickname Yash. I wish he would move to Dallas!
After our shoot we walked to The Edition and met up with a bunch of friends for drinks. We were supposed to go to a WWD X Samsung party that night, but we were having way too much fun catching up and skipped the event. We went to eat at Mercer Kitchen instead! That ended up happening a lot throughout the week. I ended up skipping tons of shows and events in order to spend more time with friends! I don’t regret it either!
Fell into bed around 1am again!
Saturday, Sunday, and Monday will be on the blog next week!

I loved your marigold look from shopbop! I actually ordered the skirt as welll but I’m WAY too short – totally overwhelmed my frame. You’re rocking it though!

The all black leopard look was my favorite. So stylish, classy, chic and edgy. I really like how you got innovative with your looks, I was surprised and totally impressed, like the romper look is a cool idea. Big props to you on being so stylish and adventurous. Thank you for sharing with us!
