Amanda’s Sale Look: Olive Peplum Top (under $40 and also comes in white), White Distressed Jeans, Khaki Suede Booties, Rebecca Minkoff bag (s/o, but similar here), Knot Bracelet (only $12), Crossover Ring ($12)
Tanya’s Sale Look: Olive Ruched Dress (s/o, but similar here), Denim Jacket, Fringed Heeled Sandals, Coach Purse (on sale), Gold Necklace, Dior Sunglasses
Let me start by saying.. can you tell I love the color olive? Did you see my head to toe olive look from yesterday (see post here)? Will probably be wearing olive for the next 5 months!
What are you up to this weekend? I am spending time with family and friends (per usual). Oh, and I guess I will be spending a little time with Troy too ;).
On the weekends I like to get together with friends and discuss everything going on. It is a huge stress-reliever for me, because most of my friends have the same struggles! When you say stuff out loud, you usually realize then that it isn’t near as bad as you thought!
Meet Tanya Foster
Last weekend I had the chance to catch up with my friend Tanya Foster! Tanya is actually an actress who started a blog in 2014 because she had such a love for fashion and styling! Since then, her blog has really taken off! I love seeing her classy outfits daily! Her Snapchat (Tanya Foster / TanyaFoster.com) is also so fun to follow. She has a giant inflatable pool flat, a swan she named Fred. You can see the ‘daily adventures of Fred’ in her snaps! I just know I have so much to learn from her!!
Wear Now, Wear Later
Tanya and I are both wearing outfits from the Nordstrom Anniversary Sale and both of our outfits are very transitional! We wanted to make sure we could wear these pieces for the rest of summer and into the fall.
Tanya’s ruched dress is sold out in the olive, but there are a few sizes left in burgundy! I linked another olive ruched dress that is super similar, but with long sleeves! She threw a jean jacket over it because it is typically cold indoors in the summertime, but this jean jacket will also be perfect over the dress outside in the fall!
My olive peplum top is on sale for under $40 and I also own it it in white! It was completely sold out a couple of days ago, so I am so glad they re-stocked it! I love how it fits and how comfortably and flowy it is! I paired this transitional look with white distressed jeans and booties! Both the jeans and booties are on major sale as well, so hurry and grab them!
Hanging out with friends with similar interests is soooo important! You can celebrate each other’s successes and you can be there for each other when things go wrong! I really have such an amazing group of friends here in Dallas!
Lastly, don’t forget that when you shop the N Sale that we have an entire month and a half left of warm weather! Buy transitional pieces so that you don’t have to hang them up until the end of September! Wear them now AND wear them later! 🙂
xoxo Amanda
