#BringHeartHome with Stage
‘Home Is Where the Heart Is’ is a proverb we grew up hearing. I didn’t realize how true it was until I had a home of my own and a family to share that home with.
I am taking that sentiment and mixing it up a little this month to bring you a post on how Heart Is Where the Home Is.
Throughout the month of April, Stage will be hosting activations and give back initiatives to raise money for the American Heart Association. From April 1-30th, Stage is donating $1 for every social post with the hashtag #BringHeartHome. I am partnering with Stage on this campaign to try to help them raise $25,000 for the American Heart Association!
Heart Is Where the Home Is
I know my home is the best place to be when it comes to heart health because it is the place I feel the most love. I am surrounded by it all day every day. I especially feel it every morning when I go to get Miller for her first feed and I feel it every night when Troy and I cook together.
Our home is the first thing Troy and I bought together and the home that Miller will grow up in. Ugh, here come the tears. I get a little emotional when thinking about our home. So many memories already there!
Do you have a special place where you feel the most love?
We love spending time outside. It is Miller’s favorite place to be so we are constantly there. We started investing in our outdoor space as soon as we moved in. We re-did our pool to make it more kid-friendly, we decorated our patios to be warm and friendly, and we screened in our porches to make sure we could be outside year-round.
This is where we spend so much of our time. Thanks to Stage, we recently grabbed this gorgeous outdoor fire pit! It is perfect for cold nights like tonight. You never know what kind of weather you are going to get in Texas so I am sure we will have a lot of need for this. We lit it the other night and Miller was just so excited about it (she has learned to squeal recently haha!)
