The countdown is on! A little over two weeks until Christmas Day and I can’t believe how fast it is approaching. I am getting SO excited as I will be hosting my entire family this Christmas in our new home. While there is still a ton that still needs to be done to this new house, it will be so special having all of my loved ones under one roof.
If you guys don’t know already, I have a pretty decent size family with all of my siblings and their kid’s, etc. I want their time spent at my house full of fun so I did some shopping on Academy Sports to make sure the whole family can be entertained this holiday season.
I don’t know if you guys have shopped on Academy Sports, but they have it ALL! I didn’t even realize the amount of different products they offered until I was shopping online and was blown away. I was on the hunt to find outdoor activities and games that the kids would love to play with and even found some games for adults too. Thanks to Academy Sports, I plan to make this Christmas season a fun-filled one worth remembering forever with my whole family!
What I Ended Up Getting:
We decided on the KidKraft Modern Outdoor Playhouse for the kid’s to play with! This is something that I know between Miller and my sister’s kid’s, they will be playing with all day and night. Miller has already loved it and we had fun decorating it with Christmas decorations. Playsets and swing sets are always such a great idea for the kid’s! When we lived in our old neighborhood we would always take Miller to the playground and she loved playing on the swing sets. Pop-Up Tents:
How cute are these tents for the kid’s to play with? These are tents you can pop up in the backyard or inside and let them have so much fun with. Swings & Trampolines:
I know some people don’t always love the idea of trampolines because they can be a little dangerous so I wanted to add some swings to this post too! I love the Adventure Sky Dreamcatcher Swing I added below as this is easy to assemble to a sturdy tree and the kids can have a blast!
Games:
These games are perfect and a little switch up on the typical swing sets and play sets, etc. These are games to get all the kid’s involved or even yourself with the kids!
Other Activities:
Here are some other fun activities I know any kid would love! I have my eye on the Paint Easel. This is such a cute set up and I would much rather Miller and the kid’s paint outside vs inside as clean up with way easier!
For The Adults:
When shopping for all the outdoor toys and activities for the kids I had to see what Academy offered for adults too! The kid’s can’t have all the fun, am I right? These would be great gift ideas too if you are still stuck on what to get your husband, dad, brother, sister, etc! Academy Sports has so many outdoor, backyard games for adults and they have a ton of options when it comes to favorite sport teams. For example, I love the Dallas Cowboy corn hole boards! This would be so much fun to be doing in the backyard while the kid’s play with their outdoor playhouse. You can’t go wrong with any of these games!
