I know I usually have a wedding or work attire post up on Wednesdays, but I decided to mix things up this week!

Since I am disrupting your schedule, I will have BOTH a work wear AND a wedding post on the blog next week, yay!

Today, I want to talk about summer staples from Nordstrom. These items are super hot right now, so I wanted to make sure you guys had a chance to grab them in your size before they sell out! Plus, it is a triple points day today if you are a cardholder!

Why are these items super hot? Because of the price tags!

Nordstrom always has an amazing selection of summer staples and you can usually find tons of colors and different fits in the items you love! I actually wore this outfit in Florida this past weekend and did not want to take it off! The pool you see in the background is from the resort we stayed at called The Point on 30A!

Here are a few of my favorite summer staples from Nordstrom.

$39 Denim Shorts-

I am always looking for a great pair of denim shorts during the summertime. I have a few other pairs, but those have a lot of rips and tears in them. This pair I am wearing is nice and clean, but it still has the frayed hems that we all love. They are also ONLY $39!! They are extremely comfortable and have a great stretch to them so make sure to order one size down. I am wearing a 26 here and please remember that I am almost 5’11, so they will fit a little longer on you!

$42 Off-the-Shoulder Top-

I LIVE for these off-the-shoulder tops during summer in Dallas! They are a huge summer staple for me because it just gets so dang hot here! These crochet tops always go super fast and this pretty pink top is only $42! It fits perfectly and you can also grab it in yellow and white if you aren’t a pink person. I love the ruffle because you can get away with going braless if you want to! I usually wear a strapless bra or bandeau with mine- either way works!

$12 Sunglasses-

Is anyone else a sunglass hoarder like me? When it comes to Nordstrom, you can find so many amazing sunglasses for just $12! I tend to look at least once a week to see what else they have come out with! I got lucky and found these gorgeous tortoise cat eye sunglasses for only $12! The last time I found some cat eye sunnies from Nordstrom they were sold out within two weeks!

PS- I remember thinking my mom was weird for always having to put sunglasses on as soon as she left the house. As I get older, I am noticing that I am doing the exact same thing! Anyone else? I think I have at least three go-to pairs in my car ready to grab at all times!

$59.95 Saddle Bag-

Saddle bags are definitely a summer staple because they are so easy to throw on when you are heading out the door. The gorgeous bag I am wearing here is my favorite right now! It comes in three colors (would have gotten the dusty rose too if I didn’t already have something in a similar color!) I love how big it is and that you can adjust the straps to your liking. The cognac will go with everything and you can also add a little scarf to it for a pop! You will use this bag a million times over guys and it will be worth every penny!

$96 Sandals-

These gorgeous Jack Rogers slides from Nordstrom just went ON SALE for 25% off so make sure to grab them before they go back up to their original price- which is $127!! I actually borrowed this brown pair from a friend who was in Florida with me. I own them in gold and white and another blogger on the trip had them in white. Needless to say, everyone should have these sandals! You will spend a little more on this summer staple because they will get the most wear and you want them to last. Jack Rogers is such a great brand and their shoes are of the highest quality!

$495 Watch-

Ok ok, I realize I may have lost you here. I just wanted to make sure I talked about the watch that I have not taken off since it arrived in the mail. Seriously though, if you look at my last 2o Instagram photos, you will see this Tory Burch watch. It goes with everything, it looks like you are wearing a bracelet, and it is a GREAT investment piece. I am only calling this a summer staple because it will complete every look you get from the above selections.
