What are you up to for Thanksgiving? Are you doing the same as always, or are you trying something new this year? I would love to hear about your traditions and/or your new experiences! I am actually going somewhere new for a change, and all I have been told is that I better bundle up!

In Texas, it never really gets cold enough for a coat until mid-end November. Then we wear one but we usually don’t button or zip it up. Well, I am going to be In Omaha, Nebraska this Thanksgiving and apparently it can get down to 1 degree that time of year! To me, THAT IS CRAZY!

For Thanksgiving I used to always go to my grandparents house in West Texas with my parents and two sisters. As we got older and my siblings married, it was just me and my parents out there. Now I have a serious boyfriend and get to travel with him for the holidays. I kind of volun-told him that I was going. I have never been to his home town and after almost two years I still haven’t met a lot of his family. I am so so so excited! We are also planning on going to a Cornhusker game while we are there (which my co-worker said was the COLDEST game he had ever been to and it was at the same time of year, eeek).

I love any reason to shop, so of course when I heard how cold it was up there I HAD to buy this amazing coat from LOFT (half off right now). I also went ahead and bought a couple scarves from my #countdowntochristmas collage from yesterday!
