Love this post! All the dresses are stunning. Thank you so much for sharing. I have 2 questions.
    1) What lipstick are you wearing in these pictures? because I love it!
    2) Can you do an instagram story/tutorial on how you curl your hair? It looks so good!

This is a great post! But why are you not having a wedding shower?!

I love all your styles!! And congratulations!! I’m sure it’s a huge relief to be “ALMOST” done with the wedding planning! I still have 5 months and tons of things to do, it’s a never-ending list so I’m a bit jealous haha.

I like the gold sandals you are wearing with the third dress but they are very different from what you linked. I’m assuming they are something you’ve had for awhile? Thanks

Yes so sorry they are old from Sole Society! They could still be there!

The Eliza J one is definitely my favorite – sooo pretty!! I am also loving the halter one! These are great options! My wedding is in 4.5 months so I’m on the hunt now for dresses for my engagement photos, showers, bachelorette, etc! As you said though, weddings are expensive and I keep going back & forth between “you do not need to buy multiple white dresses for these events” and “It’s your wedding, it only happens once, live it up!” haha! I’m thinking maybe ONE dress and work with what’s in my closet for the rest. 😉

Oh congrats Kate!! I am sure your wedding will be so beautiful and totally agree that now is the time to go all out and just get what you want! You can get one great dress for one event at a higher price point or get three less expensive dress for three different events!

Happy Thursday!

Where did this week go? I cannot believe tomorrow is Friday and one day closer to my wedding!

Should we call today tie-the-knot-Thursday? Or is that stupid? I am trying to post both work wear and wedding wear/updates so it gets tricky on Wednesdays!

Today I wanted to show you four white dresses to wear to you wedding shower.

White Dresses to Wear to your Wedding Shower

You can of course wear these dresses to any wedding event you have, and you can even wear them if you are not getting married (yes, you heard me!) No one needs an excuse to wear white, am I right? Well, just don’t wear one of these dresses to an actual wedding that you are the guest of please…

These dresses are alllll at different price points. Can you tell just by scrolling through which was the most expensive? Would love to hear which one you guessed in a comment below!

Weirdly enough, I am actually NOT doing a wedding shower.

My wedding is a destination wedding, and it isn’t the cheapest place to get to :/. I feel like the people who can’t make it live out of state anyway, and the ones who can make it are already spending ENOUGH just by coming! I would hate for them to feel obligated to get us something as well. We feel so blessed just to have people willing to make the trip!

Plus, most of the guests who sent back nos actually already sent us a gift based on the registry information on our wedding website!

Lastly, I got to do a couple great wedding registry posts (with Bed Bath & Beyond, Macy’s and I am about to have a post soon with Unison Home). They graciously supplied most of the items on our list anyway!

Buttttt, I know most brides out there DO have a shower, so I rounded up some of my favorite white dresses to wear to your wedding shower!

Dress #1

This white dress is under $50!! Weddings are SOOOOO expensive guys. Didn’t believe it until I started my wedding budget, yikes! Why not find a gorgeous dress that you can actually save some money on?

This halter dress is so pretty and classic and you can pair pretty much anything with it. I kept it all nude, but if you are a bright person then pair it with some hot pink and orange!

Dress #2

White Dress I White Tassel Earrings I Prada Camera Bag (sold out) I Rose Gold Heels I Gold Watch

This stunning cold shoulder lace dress is under $100! It is super feminine and chic and I am all about a good midi dress these days!

The last two options are both under $100 and both gorgeous! I just wanted to give you the option of a dress above the knee and a dress below the knee. Everyone has different preferences!

Dress #3

White Dress I White Earrings I Gold SandalsNude Purse I Gold Watch

Be careful with this baby doll dress guys! Yes, it is soooo adorable. But it is a little see through. I would recommend wearing a slip underneath.

I actually wore this dress to an event I had at Neiman Marcus last week with Natasha Beddingfield!

PS- please remember that I am 5’11 so this dress will be a little longer on you ;).

Dress #4

White Dress I Pearl Studs I Prada Cammeo Camera Bag (sold out) I Nude HeelsGold Watch

I saved my favorite dress for last. This is the dress I would choose for my own wedding shower (if I was having one!) I will definitely still find a reason to wear it, don’t you worry!

Eliza J never disappoints in my opinion and the designers knocked it out of the park with this stunner.

I love the bell-sleeves and think the lace is absolutely gorgeous!

I would love to hear which dress was your favorite, and which dress you thought was the most expensive at first glance! I would love to know if you would consider one of these dresses to wear to your wedding shower!

PS- Pass this on to friends who are getting married by using one of the share options below <3.
